There is one thing MoveOn isn't lying about: right now, there are enough leftist Democrats in the House to block any bill without the socialistic "public option" of ObamaCare. And contrary to what you may have read, the White House has said repeatedly Obama's position hasn't changed -- he still wants that government-run healthcare plan. There is also real danger in the Senate, where Harry Reid and his cohorts have stepped up efforts to FORCE government-run healthcare through, by planning to stick it onto a "must-pass" bill that can't be filibustered in September. If they succeed -- ObamaCare will pass. After several weeks of backlash by leftist Democrats sending in union thugs to beat back protesting constituents at townhall meetings, the media is twisting the story of this grassroots uprising against big government, in order to fit their liberal agenda. Now, they're trying to lull us into a false sense of security by dropping hints that "ObamaCare" is dead... when nothing could be further from the truth. Now, more than ever, every single Congressman and Senator needs to hear that the American people will NEVER sit idly by and let them shove a government-run healthcare system down our throats. The shrill voices from the far left are getting heard more and more in townhalls and meetings nationwide, thanks in big part to MoveOn.org goons organizing Astroturf "protests" across the country. All across the country, left-wing extremists are disrupting congressional town-hall meetings with venomous attacks on anyone who voices their objections to Barack Obama's plans to socialize American health care. Check out the latest: At a town hall meeting with Rep. Kathy Castor in Tampa, Florida, as she was introduced, the reaction was overwhelmingly against her, with boos and chants of "You work for us." In the lobby, you could hear the counter of Planned Parenthood representatives shouting, "Healthcare Now." Shortly thereafter, violence erupted, where three big "goons" came out and started pushing and roughing up the people in line and in the hallway, at one point even using a chokehold on one of the people. Police officers on the scene did nothing to prevent the violence being perpetrated on these citizens trying to exercise their free speech rights -- citizens who far outnumbered those who were allowed to stay. Russ Carnahan in St. Louis, Missouri, police arrested six people for assaulting constituents who were opposed to the health care takeover. As reported locally, "Kenneth Gladney, 38, a conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with 'Don't tread on me' printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was awaiting treatment for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack." See the videos HERE and HERE!
